Anne Pflimlin - Mediaschool Group Managing Partner, ECS London Director

Coordinatrice des équipes ECS-IEJ à Londres. En charge des partenariats internationaux du développement du groupe.

Notre école est avant tout une ambition partagée par tous ceux qui, de près ou de loin, participent à son dessein : préparer et former avec succès des étudiants aux métiers en constante évolution de la communication et du journalisme car les qualités d’une école s’évaluent au regard du devenir de ses jeunes diplômés.

Cet avenir, dans ces métiers aujourd'hui fondamentaux, ne se fera qu'avec une parfaite maîtrise de l'Anglais et dans la pratique des méthodes innovantes et internationales anglo-saxonnes. Dans cet objectif, l'expertise de l'ECS-IEJ dès la première année mais aussi en troisième année de Licence/Bachelor et dans des Mastères spécialisés devait s'étendre au Royaume Uni où ils furent adaptés par des experts des médias et agencences londoniens. 

Les professeurs, les équipes pédagogiques et administratives de LCC sont mobilisés à nos côtés et aux côtés de nos étudiants.

Nous avons conscience que nos élèves à Londres sont en quête d'une connaissance mondiale et pensent à exercer leur future carrière aussi bien en Europe continentale, au Royaume-Uni que sur les marchés asiatiques ou américains et particulièrement en fin de cursus où plus que jamais la finalité de leurs efforts est l'emploi auquel nous souhaitons les mener par la pratique professionnelle et le développement personnel.

Cette année encore s'annonce enrichissante dans la capitale la plus avant-gardiste et multiculturelle d'Europe. Après tout 2012 fut une année olympique à Londres, celle de tous les records et toutes les performances, 2013 saluera les 60 ans du couronnement de sa Majesté et nous vous souhaitons une aussi longue et belle carrière.

Josiah "Joz" Norris,  Operations Coordinator

Pour les étudiants, les professeurs et la direction, Joz est toujours disponible et efficace.

Joz Norris is Operations Coordinator at ECS London and undertakes the organisational and administrative work of the school, as well as assisting teachers and students with general and technical issues.

Joz studied English Literature at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2010, and since then has worked in a wide range of important administrative and organisational roles with major organisations. He worked on the organisation and enactment of the 2011 Census for the Office of National Statistics, and subsequently as a marketing officer for Esporta Health Clubs, promoting the brand’s image and reputation in the local area. He also worked at LCC as one of the Administrators for the International Office, assisting with the registration and enrolment of international students, and as the Clinic Administrator for the National and Specialist OCD Unit at the Michael Rutter Centre, at the Maudsley Hospital.

He also has extensive journalistic experience, having written for both the Salisbury Journal and Concrete Magazine, and was also a regular contributor to UEA’s student radio station, Livewire 1350. He occasionally undertakes research projects into contemporary music on behalf of the programme Something Understood on BBC Radio 4.

Joz is also an accomplished writer, actor and comedian, and has achieved significant recognition for his work in the field, including winning a competition to perform at the UK premiere of Ben Miller’s film “Huge” and appearing on E4’s comedy panel show “Show and Tell,” hosted by Chris Addison. He recently took his first solo stage show, “Joz Norris is Matt Fisher: Uberperson,” to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to great acclaim from critics and audiences alike, and has also released a wide range of comedy webseries on Youtube, most based around his comedy character Matt Fisher.                          E-mail: joz@ecs-london.com

Caroline Baylon, Head of International Portfolio, London College of Communication

Caroline en charge de l'International au LCC, trouve toujours le temps de conseiller les étudiants de l'ECS-IEJ.

Following a degree in Politics and Management of Public Institutions and a Masters degree in European Studies, Caroline worked for the several British Government departments as Research Assistant, Financial Analyst, Editor and Project Manager. She then worked for the University of Bristol as Project Manager before joining the Arts and Humanities Research Council as Head of International Strategy. Caroline took her position at LCC as Head of International Portfolio on 3rd May 2011. As member of the College Management Team, Caroline’s responsibility is to lead the LCC Internationalisation Strategy and position the LCC as a key player in the Communication, Media and Design fields in the UK and abroad.

Caroline is responsible for all aspects of internationalisation at LCC, including for the following areas:

- Leadership of the International Office

- Internationalisation Strategy development and implementation

- International Student Recruitment and related activities

- International Student support and enhancement of international student experience

- International Partnerships

-International development (including : International funding support; Advocacy, Marketing and strategic positioning; International engagement and high level visits; International Alumni relations, internationalisation of the Curriculum)
